Enchannah is the sole living resident of Astral, the island of the dead, where spirits prepare to cross over the afterlife. Most spirits wisp past her, until she befriends a Drippling spirit named Ki who always returns when she leaves, a rare trait for a Drippling in particular. Together they uncover the secrets of the Living Lands through the stories of the spirits they encounter, and, with Enchannah's magic in testing and Ki's empathetic nature, help restless spirits find peace so they can finally pass on.
